After nearly two decades of listening to client’s tales of woe, and facing a lifetime of struggling with her own limp locks, award winning Canadian stylist Jacquelyn Marquis acted.  At a time when color processing was taking a front seat and the traditional method of creating volume was becoming less popular Marquis saw the damage that chemical processing was taking on her clients hair.

With the desire to see clients experience extreme volume without damaged hair left in the wake, Marquis began to educate herself and experiment with a variety of bent clips to create texture at the hair root as no tool or technology existed.

A whirlwind of on-going research with actual client feedback, trial and error and market studies brought to fruition the vision of J-clips.  Following a lifetime of struggling with flat hair Marquis produced and patented what is arguably the most effective and newest hair innovation on the market—the  J-clip Wet-Set System.
